Jackie Ching

Jackie Ching joined the Hinshaw Law Firm in 2023. Prior to joining the firm, he was an associate at a civil litigation law firm in Honolulu, Hawaii. He also externed for the Honorable Richard R. Clifton of the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit and clerked at the Honolulu Federal Immigration Court. Mr. Ching currently focuses his practice on the defense of physicians, hospitals, and healthcare providers against allegations of professional negligence and medical malpractice.

Mr. Ching graduated cum laude from the William S. Richardson School of Law at the University of Hawaii in 2021, where he served as an editor for the University of Hawaii Law Review, captain of the Saul Lefkowitz Intellectual Property Moot Court Team, co-founder of the Federal Bar Association Law Student Chapter, and research assistant for Professors Eric Yamamoto and Cory Lenz.

Prior to law school, he was a legislative staffer for a United States Senator in Washington, D.C. Mr. Ching graduated cum laude from Pomona College (Claremont, CA). He is admitted to practice in all courts in the State of California. He is also admitted to practice in all courts in the State of Hawaii and in the United States District Court, District of Hawaii.
