Brad Hinshaw has been an attorney with the Hinshaw Law Firm since 1991.  He specializes in medical malpractice defense, elder abuse/dependent adult defense, landlord tenant disputes and real estate matters.  He also defends medical professionals in administrative matters involving the Medical Board of California, the California Department of Health Services, the Board of Chiropractic Examiners, the Board of Registered Nursing and the Department of Real Estate.

Mr. Hinshaw is an experienced litigator.  He has tried dozens of lawsuits to a defense verdict,  represented hundreds of medical professionals at deposition, and taken countless plaintiff and expert depositions.

Mr. Hinshaw advises HMO multi-specialty medical groups on a wide range of medical-legal matters, including peer-review and quality assurance, employment and labor issues, and risk management.

Mr. Hinshaw was born in San Jose, California in 1965.  He received his undergraduate degree from the University of California, Los Angeles, and law degree from Santa Clara University School of Law.  He was admitted to the State Bar of California Bar and the United States District Court, Northern District of California, in 1991.  

Brad and his wife Laurie raised their three boys, Ryan, Ben and Adam, in Saratoga.  Brad was a four year member of the Mens’ Swimming Team at UCLA, and he continues to swim for exercise.  He also plays water polo with the Bay Area Master’s water polo team.  Brad enjoys supporting and watching his sons compete for their college swimming teams.  Ryan attends Indiana University, and Ben and Adam attend the University of California Berkeley.
